Rep. Cori Bush under fire for defending riot at St. Louis town jail
Rep. Cori Bush, D-Mo., is facing criticism for her response to a riot Saturday at a downtown St. Louis jail.
Inmates rioted over a wide variety of issues, setting fires, smashing windows and throwing debris to the avenue below. It took corrections officers just about eight hrs to stop the “exceptionally violent” disturbance.
