New Franklin County prosecutor claims to be good in law enforcement probes

Franklin County Prosecutor Gary Tyack issued a statement Thursday in an attempt to relieve issues in the legislation-enforcement local community associated to his modern remarks about officer-involved shootings.  

“I want to admit that legislation enforcement provides an critical assistance to our community,” Tyack wrote. “I value the function done by regulation enforcement officers.”

Tyack, a Democrat who defeated longtime incumbent Republican prosecutor Ron O’Brien in the November election, campaigned on a pledge to be more aggressive than O’Brien in pursuing allegations of misconduct and too much pressure used by officers.

He recently stated in a Tv interview that “we have to have to get the concept out that if you do succumb to the temptation to shoot, then we will end up penalizing you, maybe even sending you to prison.”
