Bruce Kirby, Columbo and L.A. Regulation Character Actor, Dies at 95
Bruce Kirby, a character actor best recognized for roles in Columbo and L.A. Law, died Sunday at the age of 95.

His son, John Kirby, shared the news in a prolonged tribute on Fb, creating that his father “handed absent peacefully” at Cedars-Sinai clinic in Los Angeles.
“My heart is large but grateful for all the excess blessed years with each other,” John wrote. “My Move-Mom ROZ’s Love & devotion was impressive & a major power in keeping him alive so long.”
Bruce performed Sergeant George Kramer in the mystery sequence Columbo and experienced a recurring part as District Attorney Bruce Rogoff in authorized drama L.A. Legislation in the 1980s and early ’90s.

During his decades-lengthy career as a character actor, he also built appearances on I Dream of Jeannie, Night time Courtroom, The Golden Girls, Punky Brewster and M*A*S*H, among the other individuals, before his retirement in 2009.

In his tribute, John wrote of Bruce’s lifelong commitment to performing and to exposing his two sons to the amusement industry from an early age.
Bruce’s other son, Bruno, was also an actor, recognised for his roles in When Harry Met Sally, The Godfather: Aspect II and Excellent Morning, Vietnam. He died in 2006 from problems linked to leukemia.

“He was a fantastic Father who loved Bruno and Me and as a family members he designed it his organization for us to tour in these specialist Summer months Stock offers a little something we would all look forward to every summer!” John wrote.
“Thank You Dad for every thing you taught me about Acting & how to have such a sturdy work ethic though sharing your adore for the Arts & the Craft of it all,” he extra. “I will overlook You & Adore You always. I am happy you might be up there with Bruno and so many of our liked ones.”
In addition to John, Bruce is survived by his wife, Rosalyn.
